Evaporation of a thin droplet in a shallow well: theory and experiment

Motivated by the industrial manufacture of organic light-emitting-diode displays, we formulate and analyse a mathematical model for evolution thin droplet in shallow axisymmetric well rather general shape both before after touchdown that accounts spatially non-uniform evaporation fluid, perform physical experiments using three cylindrical wells with different small aspect ratios, validate comparing present experimental results corresponding theoretical predictions well.
